Salt Addict Lures is a Virginia Beach–based tackle company specializing in custom handmade saltwater jigs, trolling lures, fly patterns, and daisy chains. Founded by Sean Swatsky, the brand is built on more than 30 years of experience designing and tying fly fishing patterns for serious anglers.

Cobia Kraken Jigs launched in early 2025 with the debut of my feathered cobia jig product line, Cobia Kraken Jigs. I had one mission: deliver innovative, field-tested tackle engineered specifically for hardcore saltwater anglers targeting Cobia, Bull Redfish, and Striped Bass. Carefully designed, rigorously tested, and refined to perform in demanding conditions.

2026 brought growth and opportunity with the kick-off of "Salt Addict Lures". I changed my business name from Cobia Kraken Jigs to Salt Addict Lures to match my broadening business. The name better represents my current business model which now includes offshore trolling lures. Fall of 2026 will be the official release of my own line of trolling lures made with my own Salt Addict Resin Heads designed & manufactured by Salt Addict Lures.

 

From targeting powerful Cobia, hard-fighting Bull Red Drum (Redfish) and Striped Bass, to pursuing Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and other pelagic species offshore, Salt Addict Lures remains committed to creating quality products you can trust.
